And once you have put your pantry food in your cupboard, you will also need a solution that will work for the refrigerator; in addition to claiming a cupboard for your pantry food, leave as much of your refrigerator food as you can in the grocery bag it came in, as most people are less likely to open a bag and see what’s inside than to simply eat something they see.

In the end, you may have to put up with a small amount of food loss from roommates, but when you take these steps, you can certainly minimize the amount of food you lose, and can save money on your grocery bills!

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 a Must Consider Camera

Panasonic has created a great micro four-thirds camera named the Lumix DMC-G2. The goal of this camera was to reduce the size of a DSLR without loosing any picture quality.  It appears that the G2 has acomplished this. Plus the G2 has a touch screen display which makes it the first DSLR camera with interchangeable lenses to feature this.

The LCD is three inches of high resolution viewing.  As stated before this also has a touch screen that allows you to select where to auto focus. You can not only adjust your ISO from the touch screen, you can also adjust many other settings. There is also a view finder on the camera for those days were the bright sun causes veiwing issues with the LCD.

The lens that is standard with the camera is a Lumix G Vario 14-42 mm. That is about the equivalent to 28-84 mm in a 35mm. You can take pictures at a great number of distances with this lens. You can purchase other lenses for this camera but they need to be lenses that are compatible with the four-thirds camera. The camera also boasts an optical image stabilizer that helps to reduce handshake distortions and blurriness that can occur. The reduction in handshake also makes it more ideal for low light pictures.

The G2 also takes 1280 X 720 HD videos. There is a dedicated button for video taking also.  This is great because you can immediately start to film a video without much fuss. Wind noise is often a problem on cameras, but not so much with the G2.  They have included software to cut down on wind issues. The camera boasts four different filtering setting to help with the audio. Plus, you can also hook up an external microphone to the camera to further improve the audio.
